伊利諾伊州(Illinois)商務(wù)及經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展部近日向MicroLink Devices公司下發(fā)500萬(wàn)美元資金，用于新型輕質(zhì)太陽(yáng)能制造廠的建造。該工廠將用于生產(chǎn)高效輕質(zhì)太陽(yáng)能電池。該項(xiàng)目是美國(guó)復(fù)興與在投資法案項(xiàng)下的伊利諾伊州可再生能源生產(chǎn)計(jì)劃中的一部分。

MicroLink Devices receives USD$5 million grant to develop light weight solar cells plant
Semiconductor manufacturer MicroLink Devices, Inc. has been awarded a USD$5 million grant from the State of Illinois to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant to produce high efficiency, light weight solar cells.
“We are thrilled with, and humbled by, this award,” says MicroLink president and CEO Dr. Noren Pan. “It says a lot about the potential for our technology to contribute to the important role that solar energy must play in the future of the U.S.”


The award was granted by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO). Funding was provided by the United States’ American Recovery and Reinvestment Act’s Renewable Energy Production Program.
